  • Take a saltire with them for waving, on a flagpole, hold between links or drape round their shoulders, the imagery for this will be mind blowing.
  • Stewards, in High Viz Vests, will be at each access point.  Please be respectful and adhere to any instructions given to you by the Stewards.  Their instructions are for your own safety and for the good of the event.

  • Walk in SINGLE FILE and stand on the furthest part of the path (offside), AWAY from the canal waters, FACING the canal.  Hence the width of the Path is in front of you.
  • DO NOT ENTER THE CANAL WATER
  • Be mindful of those that may not be able to walk far and ensure that they have the least distance to go. While still leaving 3m at the entrance for Emergency Vehicles.

    • Note:  The Chain of Freedom will NOT close down any roads, nor cross any roads, which will disrupt the public.  Should there be a road in your section.  The Chain will stop at one side and then restart at the other.
